Svenja Müller became European Youth Champion in 2018 and is considered "the" beach volleyball talent of Germany.
Born in Dortmund, she now measures 1.92m and has always been one of the tallest since she was a child. So it's no wonder that she chose volleyball early on.
At 13, she played her first beach volleyball tournament and realized that summer, sun and beaches are cooler than gyms. That's why she played indoor volleyball in the winter and beach volleyball in the summer.
After graduating from high school, Svenja went to Hamburg to focus on beach volleyball at the Olympic Training Center there. In the same year, Svenja completed basic training with the German Armed Forces and has been a member of the sports support group ever since.
It is only since 2022 that Svenja forms one of three national teams with Cinja Tillmann. But at the World Championships in Rome, the new team immediately jumped out with a third place. We are excited to see what milestones will follow.
