In 2022, he was runner-up on the same apparatus. At the age of six, the 8-time German champion started gymnastics at TSV Unterhaching.

In order to be able to fully concentrate on the sport, Lukas joined the sports support group of the German Armed Forces after graduating from high school in 2011. With this step and to have better training conditions, Lukas moved to the federal base in Berlin at the beginning of 2012. After eight years in Berlin, new stimuli and new impulses should be set again, which is why Lukas has been living and training in Halle an der Saale since mid-2020.

Despite a training volume of approx. 28 hours/week plus physiotherapy, regenerative measures and mental training, Lukas is also pushing ahead on the path after his athletic career and is studying international management.
